Chinese Premier Li Qiang and PM Shehbaz open Gwadar Airport

China will continue to contribute to Pakistan's growth, according to Chinese Premier Li Qiang. He made these remarks at a signing event for several agreements between China and Pakistan that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was present at. During the occasion, Gwadar International Airport was formally launched by both prime ministers. Documents pertaining to human resource development, the 7th Joint Working Group meeting on Gwadar under CPEC, and smart classrooms were shared between the two nations during the ceremony. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for collaboration in the fields of water resources and information and communication was signed. Additionally, documents were shared to strengthen the two countries' security collaboration. Premier Li Qiang called the completion of the airport a major milestone in his speech and commended the efforts of the Chinese and Pakistani workers in finishing the project. After being imprisoned for seven years, seven Pakistani fisherman who unintentionally entered Indian waters during a storm have finally been released. When they returned to Karachi, their families celebrated a long-awaited reunion by welcoming them with flowers and warm embraces. The Edhi Center Tower welcomed the freed fisherman, who included Gul Sher, Samar, Ghulam Mustafa, Rajan, Sogunjo, Abdullah, and Allah Bachaya. Hafiz-e-Quran Abdullah, who had been imprisoned with his brother and six other people, explained how they had entered Indian territory due to severe weather. Abdullah described the terrible conditions under which they were imprisoned, stating that Pakistani fisherman were subjected to inhumane treatment in Indian prisons. In Canada another member of the PIA cabin staff disappears

The 12th such event in a single year has apparently occurred in Canada, where another flight attendant for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has vanished. Concerns were raised about the persistent problem of PIA employees not reporting back to work during stopovers overseas when the missing crew member, known as Mohsin Raza, vanished during a layover in Toronto. On October 13, Raza, who was stationed in Islamabad, was supposed to catch aircraft PK 784 from Toronto to Karachi. He was discovered gone from his hotel, though, after neglecting to report for duty. Raza was last seen at the hotel prior to his scheduled trip. He had been working as a steward on the Islamabad-Toronto route. This instance demonstrates a developing pattern in PIA where flight attendants have disappeared following layovers, especially on foreign routes.
